About Me!
I grew up on 90 acres of Oklahoma farmland, surrounded by animals and the beauty of country life. I helped my dad raise cattle, sheep, chickens, and cared for my two horses, Sailor and Boots. Summers were often filled with long days cutting, raking, and baling hay, and while the work was hard, it was always rewarding.
The farm was full of life, from bottle-raising lambs whose mothers had rejected them, to making memories with my loyal dogs, Smiley and Rue. County fairs were the highlight of my summers—I proudly entered photography and baking contests and often came home with first-place ribbons.
Now, I’m reconnecting with my roots and rediscovering the joy of the lifestyle that shaped me. The values I learned growing up—hard work, simplicity, and a love for the land—have inspired my passion for homesteading. Through this journey, I’m embracing the traditions of my past while building a future centered on simple living, and I’m so excited to share it with you here.
